Birthday Flowers...

I have the sweetest Aunts who gave me beautiful flowers for my birthday. I also have a wonderful family who showered me with fun gifts. Turning 52 wasn't quite so dramatic with their love and support. Hmmmm.... I am sooooo grateful for EVERYONE!

Loving the Cooler Weather...

Today is the first day of Fall and I am absolutely loving the weather. I can't wait for it to be consistently cool enough that I can start wearing my fall clothes. Then, just around the corner, we'll be having Thanksgiving and Christmas... two of my favorite times of the year!! :)

Love Happens

Had such a nice day today... delicious lunch at Panera with Jen and then we did a little shopping before going to see "Love Happens" with Jennifer Anniston. It was so good!! Definitely a good chick flick. :) Tonight Max and I watched "Ghost" and now I'm enjoying a made for TV movie about Georgia O'Keefe. A nice relaxing evening!

It's DONE!!

Here is a photo of the TRASH that was in my garage and attic. The attic is totally empty now (except for the old flocked Christmas tree) I just couldn't bear to part with it yet.


I think there is enough room in my garage for my car, but it's about half full with tons of boxes and crates from the attic with keepsakes, Christmas ornaments, and all kinds of "treasures." I need help to go through this part, though. Too many decisions on what memories to keep or not. ............ Jen? Birthday present to me?? :)

Another beautiful day is done...

Today was a beautiful day and I got so much done... I weeded out much of the "stuff" from the study bookcase, and most importantly, I cleaned up the two rooms the Jon lived in this summer. Before he left, he separated all the sketches and work that he wanted to keep vs. the things he didn't want to keep. So now, it's all in one place and it will be much easier to find and take care of. Whew! I'm glad to get that project done!!

Now, tomorrow, I'm getting EVERYTHING down from the attic and cleaning out the garage before the bulk trash pick-up on Thursday. I am hopeful that I can just get rid of most of it and take it to Goodwill. Step-by-step, I'm getting things done! Yay!!
