A Woman's Heart..

A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ,
that a man should have to seek him first to find her.

Monday, Monday...

Yes, it's Monday morning! It's beautiful outside.

Today, I pray that I can keep my focus on planting seeds of faith and truly living the life that God has intended, rather than worrying about "stuff". And... I pray that I will lift people up and help them see God's light through me. :)

Weekends

I have always enjoyed weekends, but for the last few years, I have really felt guilty when I didn't try to accomplish something productive. By the start of summer, my goal is to be at a place where I can truly enjoy my weekends and just enjoy life.

I am also going to travel more. Last year, I drove to White Deer to visit my dad and was just absolutely struck by the total calm and peacefulness of the Texas Panhandle. I stopped my car and just took a quick 360-degree video of the countryside. It was gorgeous! It's too easy to get "caught up" in the busyness of life and forget to stop, enjoy God's blessings and rest.

Blogs...

I just love blogs of people who write from their hearts. It's a little hard for me to do, but I get so touched when I read things that other people have written. For example, I just read one posted by my new son-in-law tonight and it was absolutely precious. Now, I would never use the word precious around him, but he was describing his first two weeks of marriage to my daughter and it was so real and so from his heart. It made me love him even more to know that he could express himself so honestly and warmly and with such love and affection for my sweet daughter.

In general, I love how personal blogs (rather than political or other types of blogs) give a unique perspective and insight into a person. It's just interesting to me and often inspiring.

Hmmm.... Happy! :)

Moving Mountains

Just believe!
"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him (Mark 11:22-24).
